Puppy Love

It’s Friday here at Heirloom Finds and we just cannot stop smiling about furry, fuzzy, cute faced animals! I mean, who can resist this face.

And we cannot stop looking for ways to support our community. Since nearly all of us at Heirloom Finds are devoted pet “parents”, we felt there was no better way to make a difference than supporting our local animal shelters, with the hope of making a positive impact in the lives of unwanted animals. So, we have partnered up with the Humane Society of Parkersburg, West Virginia as a proud corporate sponsor of their “Tail Waggin’ Tailgate”-their annual fundraiser.

Money from this fundraiser, as well as others that they have throughout the year, has helped the HSOP to open a new low cost spay and neuter clinic this fall. The clinic was funded completely by the local community, and we think that is a great testament to the support we have for our local nonprofits here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. We truly could not be happier to have played a part in the clinic’s success. Remember – when looking for new friends, why not head down to your local shelter and adopt? And please, spay and neuter your pets!

Nice to meet you

Hello world!

Well hello there, nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting First Blush by Heirloom Finds —our BLOG, eek! We, the current small town staff of nine, are super excited to have a platform to share our knowledge with you. Here on our blog we will talk about our number one love—JEWELRY. Vintage, costume, fashion, fine—all jewelry is fair game to us. We will talk about how to wear it, buy it, store it and cherish it.

We will also be sharing super-secret fashion forecasting tips for the coming seasons, and chat about current jewelry trends that are rocking the streets. We will take long looks back in time to show you the evolution of jewelry—to prove that everything old will be new again.

We hope you will stop back often to visit us. Oh, and don’t forget to shop around in the store! We are constantly adding product, both vintage and new “soon-to-be heirlooms.” You never know what you may find.
